RIVER FALLS, Wis. (KMSP) -
A Wisconsin town is in shock after a tragic triple murder early this week.
Thousands of people lined the streets for River Falls Day, the four day annual festival.
But things were a bit more subdued this year after the death of Amara, Sophie and Cecilia Schaffhausen at the hands of their father.
Since, a steady stream of people have been stopping by the National Bank in town to leave donations for the Schaffhausen family.
"I don't know what else to do.," said Annette Blanchette, who donated to the fund. "What do you do? I don't know what to do?"
Amara's teammates on the local soccer team are also selling bracelets to raise money for the Schaffhausen fund, which has collected over $30,000 since Tuesday.
If you are interested in donating to the "Benefit Account for Schaffhausen Children," information is available at www.fnbrf.com/.
