Helping small businesses has been a big focus of President Barack Obama's campaign, and he announced some new steps to help business owners while tackling the 8.2 percent unemployment rate on Wednesday.
FOX 9 News spoke with Loren Schirber, owner of Castle Building & Remodeling, about whether measures by the federal government really help owners like her.

From speeding up the time government agencies pay their bills to contractors to letting businesses write off up to $250,000 in capital investments in 2013, the Small Business Administration is also revamping its Small Loan Advantage program to raise the maximum loan amount from $250,000 to $350,000 while streamlining the process.
