Circle your calendar and gas-up the car for the 7 1/2-hour trip north to Winnipeg for the first-ever NBA Canada series.
The Minnesota Timberwolves and Detroit Pistons will meet at the at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg for the Wolves' preseason finale on Oct. 24.
"We're extremely excited to be a part of the first-ever NBA Canada Series," said Timberwolves President Chris Wright. "The NBA's outreach into Canada displays the league's commitment to expand basketball in the country and further demonstrates that this is truly a global game. We look forward to our trip up north."
The Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks will tip-off the NBA Canada series at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Oct. 19.
