The Minnesota Gophers and Wisconsin Badgers havebeen chosen to play in the Hockey City Classic. The event will be playedoutdoors at Soldier Field in Chicagoin February 2013. The event is part of a double header that will also include NorteDame and Miamiuniversity.
The Gophers begin the final season of the WCHA October 12th with ahome series at Mariucci Arena against Michigan State.Beginning next year, Minnesotawill join the new Big Ten conference.
