MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
A federal analysis ranking states on the quality of health care in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and at-home care puts Minnesota at No. 1 in the nation.
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality scored Minnesota a 67 out of a possible 100.
The state ranks first in care at medical clinics, fourth in hospital care and eighth in nursing homes.
But, the analysis shows Minnesota is weak in home health care and maternal and child care. The state ranked 43rd in the U.S. in home health care.
