Adrian Peterson's mug shot has been released following his arrest in Houston, and the Vikings running back's attorney is now telling the star's side of the story.
Peterson is accused of shoving an off-duty police officer, but his attorney says that's not the case.
Rusty Hardin, the same attorney who won acquittal for Roger Clemens, has been hired by Peterson.
According to Hardin, Peterson did not resist arrest and was struck by police for "no legitimate" reason.
The woman who recorded Peterson's arrest previously told TMZ she thought officers were being aggressive with the NFL player.
