At some point during the season, the Lynx were going to work through a bit of a rough spot during their quest for back-to-back championships. They lost their second consecutive game Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles 96-90.

With their 13-3 record, they still enjoy the best mark in the WNBA, but are reeling after back-to-back losses to San Antonio and LA.

The Sparks picked up a big game from Candace Parker who scored 28 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the win. Kristi Toliver added 29 points while dishing six assists in the win.

Seimone Augustus scored 18 points for the Lynx while Maya Moore added 14 before fouling out late in the fourth quarter. Rebekkah Brunson added 11 while Candice Wiggins and Amber Harris each scored 10.

The Sparks led at by 20 at one point in the fourth quarter before the Lynx cut the deficit to six outscoring the Sparks 33-21 in the fourth quarter.

Minnesota returns home Saturday when they will host Connecticut at 7PM.
