13-year-old bicyclist hit by car in Brooklyn Park

A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after he crossed into the path of a car while riding his bike in Brooklyn Park.

The accident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday night at the intersection of Highway 252 and 73rd Avenue N.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 13-year-old Tony Ganz crossed the intersection of Highway 252 and was hit by a car driven by a 41-year-old Brooklyn Park man.

The boy is in critical condition at North Memorial Medical Center.
