At least two people were injured after a malfunction during a Fourth of July fireworks show in Woodstock on Wednesday, police said.
Officials say a shell from the show exploded too close to the ground at the Freedom Festival, injuring at least two pyrotechnicians. (CLICK THE VIDEO ABOVE TO SEE THE EXPLOSION)
One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The other person was treated at the scene, according to Woodstock Police Officer Randy Milligan.
Public crowds were not near the explosion, officials said.
The fireworks show was suspended after the accident, but later resumed.
