ATLANTA -

After the recent bout of violent storms on Tuesday, many are wondering if the weather will hold out for Wednesday night's fireworks.

Depending where you live, there is a chance firework shows could be delayed or canceled. According to FOX 5 Storm Team chief meteorologist Ken Cook, isolated pop-up storms began popping up shortly after 4 p.m.

Severe severe thunderstorm warnings were issued. The storms could pack high winds, hail and lightning.

Ken says that most of the storm should end by 9:30 p.m. Temperatures should be in the low 80s for the those attending firework shows in the metro area.

The next couple of days could see more afternoon thunderstorms appearing, Ken said.
