A watering ban has been instituted for Hudson, Wis. until further notice.
City officials allow water use under the new restrictions for even addresses on even days from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and the same for odd addresses on odd days. Addresses that encompass both even and odd addresses will be allowed to water in the same time frame every other day.
Exemptions for daily watering are being made for new lawns.
Watering of hard surfaces -- driveways sidewalks, streets -- is not allowed. Watering is banned during any percipitation.
