The Minnesota Timberwolves drafted Robbie Hummel, a 5th-year senior from Purdue, with the one-and-only draft pick in the second round (58th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft.
Hummel, a 6'8 forward, averaged 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds in 127 games at Purdue. This past year as a senior, Hummel averaged 16.4 points and 7.2 rebounds.
Hummel ranks ninth all time in Purdue history in scoring (1,772 points), fourth in rebounds (862) and games started (120), and seventh in blocks (112).
