MINNEAPOLIS -
Gunfire broke out in downtown Minneapolis around bar close early Monday, leaving four injured near the Gay 90's -- including one of the suspects.
Minneapolis police told FOX 9 News that one suspect is in the hospital with a gunshot wound. The second shooter was chased by police and is now in jail.
Police say two men were fighting and started shooting at each other at about 2 a.m., just as the bars were closing downtown.
Three others were struck near 4th Street and Hennepin Avenue. Emergency crews took two people to HCMC with minor wounds. Another victim went home and found that one of the many shots fired had grazed them.
Police say the suspect's wounds are not life-threatening and the streets of downtown are safe, despite the early-morning violence.
Police add that the overnight violence had nothing to do with the annual Pride Festival that wrapped-up on Sunday.
