Friday on Good Day we celebrated take your dog to work day, with some of our own anchors bringing in their pooches.
But we also found for some, a man's best friend is a good companion on the job.
"For the most part, they make sure everyone that walks in the door gets a proper greeting," said Katie Gagnon, owner of Blue Moon Trading Company in South Tampa.
Dogs are a daily part of her business.
The same can be said for Nichole Geller, who started a photography business six years ago. She's an expert at photographing pets and children, and she said she brings her 13-year-old Labrador retriever Carl to work everyday.
"If I have a difficult session with a two-year-old running one way and parents going the other way, I can bring Carl in and I can instantly get a smile out of the child."
While important for some at work, it was just a chance for us to have a doggone good time.
And that we did.
And for our viewers, it was a chance to show off their dogs. Click through the videos to see our features on Bring Your Dog to Work Day, and click through the photo gallery to see our viewer-submitted pooches!
