Cold-pressed juices are all the rage throughout the city. So without further ado, we're giving them some "press."
It's a constant flow of lines at Juice Press. In just two and a half years it's grown to four locations with a fifth one on the way.
Marcus Antebi, Juice Press co-owner, employees 66 in staff. And despite the average juice costing about $8, fans are drinking it up.
Another juicing chain, Organic Avenue, has also splashed onto the scene. In the last six years it has grown to 10 store locations with an 11th one opening in six weeks.
Juice Press offers dozens of smoothies as well as raw vegan food but their bread and butter are the cold-pressed juices, which are made at their production space on 10th Street and sold within two to three days of extraction. Otherwise it gets tossed.
