MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (KMSP) -
Maple Grove police are investigating a possible sexual assault near a walking path off Rice Lake.
The victim reported the assault to police at 9:48 a.m. Thursday along a stretch of the path near Upland Ave. N. Maple Grove police took a statement and are actively looking for a suspect.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and Maple Grove police released a sketch of the suspect on Friday. The suspect was carrying a camouflage backpack and a black metal box at the time of the reported attack.
