COON RAPIDS, Minn. (KMSP) -
A fund has been established for Amir Kahron Taylor, the 9-year-old boy who was the victim of a hit-and-run while riding his bike in Coon Rapids. Donations are being accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank.
Friday afternoon, Amir remained in critical condition.
The crash took place in the intersection of 11th Avenue and Kumquat Street Northwest at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13.
The vehicle that fled the scene is possibly a black 1993 to 1998 Chevrolet Z71 with extended cab and short box. The driver's side was damaged and the side mirror was dangling, according to the Anoka County sheriff's office.
