CAMP VERDE, Ariz. -
A four year old Camp Verde boy with special medical needs went to school one day, and without his parents' knowledge, a traveling dentist went to work on him in the art room.
In a startling lawsuit - the boy's parents allege their son was held down against his will while a dentist performed excessive and unnecessary procedures.

Don't want your child seen by a mobile dentist at school? Children without insurance do have another place to go.
Children from 5 to 18 years old without dental insurance can see a dentist at the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix.
The clinic is used by more than a dozen children every day. There's a $20 patient fee, but no one is turned away.
It's all funded by donations -- no Medicaid billing here. And unlike school visits, parents are welcomed.
About 31-percent of all Arizona school age children have never seen a dentist. The Boys and Girls Club of Phoenix hopes to change that, but could use more dentists to volunteer their services.
