NEW YORK -- Kris Humphries called in the FBI, alleging ex-girlfriend Myla Sinanaj tried to extort cash from him by threatening to release details of their relationship.
The Brooklyn Nets power forward, who was famously married to reality star Kim Kardashian for just 72 days, claimed Sinanaj threatened to "ruin" him if he did not pay her to keep silent, TMZ reported.
Humphries' attorneys were attempting to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement during talks on Friday, the website added.
Sinananj claims to have emails, texts and other documents from their relationship which could embarrass the NBA player, the report said.
The FBI could investigate the allegation because it is thought to have taken place through either emails, texts or phone messages, TMZ reported.
