New Como Park Pool is splash-tastic, M.A. takes the plunge

It took 9 years, and $4 million, but Como Park Pool has gotten a complete makeover.

M.A. Rosko tells us the word "pool" doesn't quite cover it; it's a water park. She takes us on a tour of the diving platforms, zip line, climbing wall, water guns, slides, "Lazy River" and more.

The grand opening is at 11:30am on Saturday, June 9th, and the pool will be open every day after that during the summer.

Admission ranges from $4.50 for a youth to $16 for a family of 5. Passes and punch cards available.

Located on Como Ave., just east of Lexington Parkway.
