EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KMSP) -

A Minnesota Vikings player was arrested on DWI charges early Saturday morning in Eden Prairie.

Jerome Felton, 25, also refused to submit to a chemical test, police say.

Felton was released from the Hennepin County Jail on $12,000 bond.

Felton, a fullback for the Vikings, signed to the team earlier this year as a free agent. He previously played for the Detroit Lions, where he was drafted as a fifth round pick in 2008.

The Vikings told FOX 9 News they are aware of the arrest and are working to get more information.
