There are many stories of bravery and selflessness to share on Memorial Day, and Bryan McDonough's story is one of those. His family is remembering the fallen Minnesota warrior with a foundation that helps military heroes.
McDonough was killed in action in Fallujah Iraq in 2006. Since then, Tom McDonough and his family have worked tirelessly to honor Bryan and his fellow soldiers. They do this through the Bryan McDonough Military Heroes Foundation, which helped build the Fisher House in Minnesota that was dedicated last year. In fact, Bryan McDonough has a memorial there.
The foundation will be holding a golf outing on Aug. 10 at Oak Glen Golf Course. More information can be found online here.
