Semi driver perches on cab after crashing into lake off I-94 - KMSP-TV

A semi driver had to act fast after crashing his truck into a lake off Interstate 94 near Alexandria, Minn. early Thursday morning.

Velic Hasan, 29, of Utica, N.Y. was driving west on I-94 when he lost control of his semi, went through a fence and crashed into Lake Latoka. The accident happened around 2:30 a.m.

Hasan was able to get out and perch atop the semi's cab until a boat picked him up and brought him to shore. He was not seriously injured.
