KIESTER, Minn. (KMSP) -
Another round of May storms left a trail of damage in southern Minnesota over the weekend after a tornado touched down and tore up rural farms.
The storm system followed the Interstate 90 corridor from Worthington all the way to Albert Lea.
Witnesses said a tornado touched down near Kiester at about 6 p.m. on Friday, destroying farm buildings and toppling trees.
The National Weather Service is expected to assess the strength of that twister.
A tornado was also spotted in Martin County on Friday.
