Fans looking to attend Target Field’s inaugural concert might be out of luck.
The July 8th concert featuring country music stars Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw sold out in about four hours on Saturday.
Many fans looking for one of the more than 39,000 tickets that were available for the show experienced technical problems with Tickets.com.
The Twins organization said it is working with the website to investigate any issues.
“Along with county music fans across Twins Territory, the Twins organization is looking forward to hosting the Kenny Chesney-Tim McGraw show at Target Field,” said Twins President Dave St. Peter. “While we are thrilled the July 8 show is sold out, we acknowledge and apologize for the challenges some fans experienced in their attempts to purchase tickets. The Twins organization is working closely with our exclusive ticketing partner – Tickets.com – to investigate today’s technical problem with the singular focus of enhancing the customer experience.”
Fans are urged to check back with the website over the next few months as more seats may become available.
