Tom Halden anchors the earliest part of the Fox 9 Morning News from 4:30am - 6am, as well as co-hosts the Fox 9 Buzz at 9am on weekday mornings. He joined the station in 2003.
A North St. Paul native, Tom went to North High School before heading to St. Cloud State, where he majored in mass communications and political science.
He's part of the FOX 9 Buzz team that won the 2011 Upper Midwest Emmy for Best Daytime Newscast and part of a team that earned the 2011 Emmy for Interactivity in Newscasts.
Tom is very involved in Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting, helping out at his children's schools, and teaching faith formation classes at church.
Tom lives in the south metro with his wife and four children.

The south metro, including Apple Valley, Hastings, Farmington and West St. Paul, were among the hardest hit by storms. 14 power poles were knocked down or snapped on Pilot Knob Road in Apple Valley.
