Tim Blotz brings to FOX 9 more than 25 years of broadcasting experience. He has reported and anchored in Milwaukee, Green Bay, and New Mexico before coming to FOX 9 in 2004.
During his career, Tim has reported on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and traveled to the Middle East during the Scud Missile attacks of the Gulf War and later to the Balkans War in Sarajevo. He was also present in Los Alamos, New Mexico when a wild fire destroyed much of the city in 2000.
Tim's reporting has earned him the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award in writing and multiple Emmy Awards including two for his work as an outstanding news anchor.
He recently earned his Master of Arts degree in strategic communication at the University of Minnesota.
When not at FOX 9, Tim's passion is playing with other musicians. He plays trumpet with the Minnesota Valley Community Band, the Valley Jazz Big Band, and the St. Hubert's brass choir.
