The forecast turns hot and humid on a southwest flow over the next few days as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 80s with dew points in the low 70s.
The hot/humid conditions set up a very unstable atmosphere and a chance for strong/severe storms Thursday and Friday as waves of Low pressure track
northeast out of the great plains and across the Upper Midwest. Timing of strong storms looks to be late afternoon through late evening both Thursday and Friday.
The high dew points will result in a highly saturated atmosphere so any rain that occurs could be very heavy with some charts pointing
to nearly 4" of rain through the next 4 days…there will be a possibility of flooding
