Chris Field anchors sports primarily on Friday and Saturday evenings for FOX 13 and reports throughout the week. She joined FOX 13 the day the "Devil" Rays came to be -- the day of the baseball expansion draft, November 17, 1997.
Chris covers the Rays, Bucs, Lightning, NASCAR, Florida college and high school teams, along with independent athletes. You can see her "Field Trips" on "Football Friday." Chris focuses on the inspiring and entertaining personalities who make Friday night high school football such a rich tradition in the Bay Area.
Look for her "Off the Field" interviews on "Tailgate Sunday." The biggest names on the Bucs open up and share sides of themselves rarely seen. During the summer months, check out "Chris' Crafts" boating features Fridays on the FOX 13 5:30 News.
