Fox Stations Sales: VP, Cross-platform Promotions and Data Management
The VP Cross-platform Promotions and Data Management Manager will serve as the leading cross- platform business advisor to the executive sales management team of the Fox Station Sales group on research analysis, insights and metrics for the generation of new ideas, the creation of strong promotions and a strategy for optimization of data for new business development.
The VP, CPDM will be a thought leader, with creative and new methods and metrics for tracking the evolving new media and media monetization of revenue streams across multiple platforms in traditional, new and social media platforms. The executive will also help support and work across the business units to help drive new revenue opportunities.
The VP, CPDM will address a consistent and effective data management strategy in support of cross-platform digital and emerging media efforts and help set the strategic agenda for the FSS Promotions and Research organization and ensure that it meets the needs of the Company.
This individual will lead a senior direct report team who are responsible for research and data analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities are to assist 2 or 3 Account Executives in the Sales Department; responsible for maintaining account files, processing orders, revisions and cancellations; act as a liaison between Account Executives, agency buyers, reps and clients; filing, answering phones, and general administrative work; other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of DDS Software; knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel desired; must be able to calculate figures and prioritize; excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to work well under pressure and be a “team player;” college degree preferred; 1-2 years office or related experience required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee monthly financial reporting requirements and month-end close; assist in daily cash entry, ownership of fixed assets system in Peoplesoft, preparation of monthly account Analysis Binder, and special projects. additional financial, budget responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Accounting and a minimum of three year’s accounting experience required; Prior experience in media accounting strongly preferred; Must possess strong analytical and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and must have the ability to work under strict deadlines; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Knowledge of Peoplesoft a plus; NY Notary a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for selling national advertising time for FOX television stations; Oversee various regional sales offices and several New York team managers; responsible for various stations’ national billing/share; accurate forecasting for stations and offices; Able to project and meet quarterly budgets; Setting and achieving Sports quotas; The VP General Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue by improving market share on a continual basis in order to achieve financial goals, supervise, motivate and drive sales managers, account executives, forecast and analyze market conditions, develops strategy for sales business plan and business practices. Knowledge of Political advertising rules and regulations.
REQUIREMENTS: Degree in related field and minimum 10 years television sales experience required. Successful track record of new business growth on a continual basis. Experience as a manager in broadcast television advertising including prior experience in national sales with prior sales management experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of television sales, research, traffic, programming and finance essential. Extensive knowledge Strategic thinker with solid management and leadership skills required. New Business Account Executive RESPONSIBILITIES: The Fox O & O duopoly in New York, WNYW FOX 5 and WWOR MY 9, seeks a highly motivated, team oriented professional to develop and maintain new business sales efforts for the stations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to identify new business opportunities, engage in constant face-to-face sales calls, possess a creative approach to multi-platform sales initiatives and consistently close new business deals. Candidate must meet or exceed quarterly new business goals and is responsible for managing developed accounts as well as creating strong marketing presentations that clearly outline station’s ability to meet the needs of prospective new business clients.
REQUIREMENTS: Individual must be a self-starter who can work independently; must possess strong communication skills, ability to cold call and fully develop new business accounts. Must have a working knowledge of Nielsen ratings; solid presentation skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; candidate must be able to demonstrate prospecting skills, identify new revenue streams as well as redirect revenue from other mediums. Position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to create and present sales decks. Television sales experience is preferred.
Facilities DirectorRESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general management, supervision, and professional direction for comprehensive facilities management organization that provides: Infrastructure maintenance and repair; oversight for technical renovations; and other day-to-day maintenance services in and around the Station facilities in both New York and New Jersey.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of ten years facilities management experience with at least 5 years as the Director of a mid to large scale technical facility with key responsibilities for comparable systems and progressive responsible management experience in: electrical and HVAC Systems, Building Maintenance, and Construction; skills and experience with Engineering or Architectural Design, Maintenance Management and Capital Construction Practices; significant experience and abilities related to the development and management of budgets; Certification as a Fire Safety Director and Evacuation Director is required or must be obtained with 120 days of appointment. Familiarity and understanding of the NYC Building codes as well as National, State and Local Safety standards; extensive management skills and abilities in the field of Safety, System Operations, Facilities management and construction; considerable knowledge in preparation and management of budgets; capable of communicating with all levels of trades and management personnel; ability to coordinate activities of a multifaceted operation to provide effective support and services to a diverse fast paced community; must be available after-hours (Evenings, Weekends and Holidays) to respond to facilities related concerns; the ability to work in a team environment and thrive under a deadline driven system is essential.
Account Executive (NY) Highly motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a sales team while under pressure; polished presentation skills and ability to organize client proposals and presentations; individual must have knowledge of major market television sales; 3-5 years broadcast selling experience and a background in either operations/retail/newspaper/research/media buying/media planning preferred.

This training program requires no previous broadcast work experience, thereby, when the six-months training period is completed, the goal is to provide the trainee with the prerequisite skills to acquire an entry-level position in the broadcasting field.
