The professional debut of a fighter is a dizzying time. “I don’t know what to expect,” said Michael Faulk prior to stepping into the ring for the first time as a pro. Putting the nerves to the side and just sticking to the game plan is easier said than done. Faulk was put in with Marvin Rodriguez, a tough 1-1 fighter who was more than up for the challenge. Falk and Rodriguez brawled for much of the fight and in the end it was Faulk who came out with a majority decision (40-36, 39-37, 38-38).
