Possible Warm Showers Moving in This Weekend

MINNEAPOLIS - Our very slow moving cold front that brought Thursday’s showers and storms has left us with a few extra clouds this morning and some patchy fog. As it continues its journey away from us Friday, it still has enough oomph to pop put a few spotty storms (especially across southeastern Minnesota). As the clouds clear out, we’ll warm up to the mid-80s Friday afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

High pressure settles in for the weekend, providing plenty of sunshine on both days with highs around 80. We could see a very brief sun-shower Sunday, but a better chance for rain waits until Tuesday of next week.
