35W-Crosstown Closure Wed. and Thurs.

Drivers heading south on Interstate 35W through the Crosstown construction zone will find road closures both Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Beginning at 10 p.m. each night and running until 5 a.m. the next morning construction crews are shutting down southbound 35W at the western end of the Crosstown junction.

According to MnDOT, drivers should head west on Hwy 62 and exit at Xerxes Ave, then get back on eastbound 62 and head south on 35W.

The closure is all part of the Crosstown reconstruction project.
