MINNEAPOLIS - Two years after the world focused in on St. Paul for the Republican National Convention, many now question whether it worth it as the Twin Cities could once again be at center stage for the next the presidential election.
Minneapolis is one of a few cities on the short list for the 2012 Democratic National Convention.
Everyone is keeping quiet but word is representatives from the DNC are meeting with folks from both Minneapolis and St. Paul.
There were a couple of tours and a few protests. When the RNC was in St. Paul over 45,000 people visited the Twin Cities and brought in nearly $170 million in new spending.
