EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - Many volunteers through social networking sites were able to track a missing grey hound. They found the dog in a muddy marsh near Chaska, Minnesota on Thursday.

Hannah was found after nine days of going missing.

Barb Mahony is the dog's owner. She was looking forward to Hannah keeping her company while she recovered from surgery, but the 5-year-old got loose from her dog-sitter the day before her operation.

But after Hannah was first spotted on Highway 7 and 101 in Minnetonka, word spread online among the greyhound community. Those online postings helped rally volunteers, who spent their free time canvassing the areas where Hannah had been spotted.

As word spread among Facebook and Twitter groups, two other sightings were confirmed in Eden Prairie and Chaska.
