MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota State Patrol is reporting 574 crashes on state roads from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday. No fatalities were reported, though 79 motorists were injured -- 1 seriously. A total of 685 vehicles slid off the roadway.
Drivers are reminded to allow extra commute time and practice safe winter driving speeds.
