EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A 27-year old woman was forced to put on a fleece jacket because a worker at a passport office in Dakota County , Minnesota hought her tank top was too racy. The employee told Kim Bruzek her picture showed too much skin and it could cause problems in some countries.

VIDEO (left) KFAN’s Dan Cole and Dan Barreiro put in their two cents on the issue.

The State Department guidelines tell people to wear street attire. Bruzek says she had on the tank top with Capri pants.

Bruzek needed a passport because she and her husband are going to Mexico. With their son in toe, they went to the Dakota County passport office. She says right after her picture was taken; an employee looked at it and asked her if she had a jacket. Because it was over 80 degrees out, she didn't.

Bruzek says the employee walked into a back room and came back with a fleece. Then they told her to put it on. Dakota County claims their staff member let Bruzek decide whether or not to change her clothes.

They also tell FOX 9 employees are trained to tell customers if they're wearing something that could be an issue in some countries. They say there was no intent to upset Bruzek.
