The attorney for suspended University of Minnesota basketball player Royce White said Tuesday he hopes to have the freshman's alleged theft and assault case taken care of as soon as possible.
F. Clayton Tyler plans to review security tapes from the Mall of America parking lot as he gathers more information in the case. Royce White was charged with theft and assault for allegedly stealing $100 in merchandise from Macy's and pushing a security guard on Oct. 13.
Tyler represented White at an arraignment Tuesday in Hennepin County District Court in Edina. White did not appear at the arraignment.
A hearing has been set for Nov. 25.
