Man Robbed in Mankato Apartment Invasion

MANKATO, Minn. - A man who answered a knock on his apartment door in Mankato on Monday was knocked to the floor by several men and robbed.

Mankato police were called to the Highland Hills apartments around 9:22 p.m. on a report of a home invasion and robbery. According to police, the man heard a knock on his door, but the peephole was blocked when he tried to look out into the hallway.

The man opened his door and was pushed to the floor by three or four men who entered his apartment. A weapon was not shown, but was reference.

The intruders took video game systems and cell phone before leaving the apartment. Officers searched the area, but no suspects were located. The tenant was not injured.
