Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement have seized over 17,000 counterfeit luxury items from Twin Cities-area businesses, worth an estimated street value of $643,000.
The items include perfume, clothed, purses, batteries, jewelry, shoes under 130 brands including Gucci, Luis Vuitton, Coach, BMW and Nike.
The knockoff items were seized from 21 businesses in the metro.
ICE officials planned to discuss the seizures at an 111 a.m. news conference Wednesday.
