LAKE ELMO, Minn. - A bobcat rescued for an exotic animal hoarder in Washington state was tested and examined Tuesday morning in Minnesota after being taken in by the Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, Minn.
The Wildcat Sanctuary received the bobcat Monday night after it was taken from a property in Washington that penned as many as 30 bobcats and 40 wolves.
The rescued bobcat was checked out Tuesday morning at the Cedar Pet Clinic in Lake Elmo, Minn.
The bobcat was discovered in an enclosure under the deck stairs of its previous owner's home. The woman is known by law enforcement in Washington as having a history of exotic animal hoarding.
