LAKE ELMO, Minn - The Washington County Sheriff's office is identifying the pilot of Friday's plane crash in Lake Elmo, MN as Mark A. Kedrowski.
The fixed wing, single engine plane crashed in a bean field north of Lake Elmo Airport just after 4:00 p.m.
Kedrowski, who was the only person on board the plane, was listed in critical condition at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on Saturday.
The manufacturer of the plane is Kwech Horst and the model is a Glasair RG Super 115, according to FAA records.
Kedrowski, from Mahtomedi MN, was airlifted to Regions Hospital with "significant injuries." from the crash site.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office said the FAA and NTSB was scheduled to be on the scene Saturday morning to investigate the crash. There has been no cause determined as to why the aircraft crashed.
