Police busted two Minneapolis residents for growing pot inside their home but cops initially went to the house expecting to save the man and woman from a home invasion.
Two people dressed as hazardous material workers busted into the home and beat up the couple who live there.
The neighbors saw the two home invaders with cash coming out of their pockets come out of the house.
The neighbors ran and tackled the pair, holding them for police.
Once emergency workers home invasion victims to the hospital, fire fighters and police went inside the home and smelled something funny.
After getting a search warrant, they found marijuana growing equipment and bags of the pot.
When police went to arrest the couple at the hospital, they only found the woman.
The man ran from the hospital only wearing his hospital gown.
The home invasion victims are looking at a number of charges and the pair in the haz mat suits spent Thanksgiving in jail.
