Pancake Breakfast to Support Troops

STILLWATER, Minn. - Family and friends of the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division gathered Sunday morning to support their soldiers in Iraq.

The pancake breakfast had been planned for a while, but news that three soldiers lost their lives led to the event taking on a new meaning.

Family Readiness Group hosted pancake breakfast at the Stillwater American Legion, rraising money for a special blanket for all 180 34th Red Bull Infantry Soldiers.

James Wertish, Carlos Wilcox and Daniel Drevnick were honored. Iraqi Police have arrested a member of an Iranian-backed militia suspected in an attack that killed three Minnesota National Guardsmen in Basra, Iraq.

Iraqi police, said the militiaman confessed to the attack on a U.S. base near the airport. SPC Daniel P. Drevnick, Age 22, of Woodbury, SPC James Wertish, Age 20, of Olivia and SPC Carlos E. Wilcox IV, Age 27, of Cottage Grove were killed Thursday night in a rocket attack.

During a search of the house where the suspect and an aide were arrested, Iraqi officials say they seized four Iranian-made rockets and documents listing names of officials to be targeted.
