Grim Discovery in North Metro

St. Anthony, MN - Police are investigating the murder of a woman whose body was found in a St. Anthony home. Investigators believe she had been dead for possibly weeks. Friday morning, the St. Anthony Police Department, along with members of the Hennepin County Social Services responded to a residence in the 3100 block of Bell Lane on a health and welfare check. Officers checked the home for a resident who had not been seen for several weeks. Police report they also found a 61-year old man who was placed on a mental health hold and later booked at the Hennepin County Jail for murder.
