Sometimes, truth can be found through fiction, so parents and officials trying to teach young people to drive safely sometimes resort to a dose of harsh reality to try to send the message that driving drunk is dangerous and no one is invincible on the roads.

The total cost of the “Every 15 Minutes” program at Centennial High School was $3,300. The school paid $500, the Blaine Police Department covered $500 and donations covered the rest. The following organizations contributed volunteers or space for the simulation:
