Man Exposes Himself to Teens in St. Paul

Driver asked questions before flashing boys

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - St. Paul Police Department is investigating two reports of indecent exposure incidents on Tuesday.

Both incidents occurred on March 9, 2010.

The first incident happened around 7 p.m. on the 1100 block of Prosperity Avenue. A 13-year-old Saint Paul boy was riding his bicycle through a parking lot, when a man pulled his car into the parking lot and asked the boy directions to downtown. As the teen began to provide directions, the driver interrupted the boy and allegedly asked if he wanted to “see something cool.” The teen then looked inside the car and noticed that the man was exposing himself. The teen immediately fled and went to a nearby business who called police.

The suspect was driving a blue, four-door compact. He was described as a white male, who was around 35 to 45 years old, with grayish hair.

The second incident occurred a couple hours later at Chatsworth Street and University Avenue.

A 16-year-old Saint Paul boy was walking home from school on University Avenue, when he noticed a small, blue car pass by him several times. Eventually, the boy said the car pulled up to the curb near the boy and the driver asked a question, at which time the teen noticed that the driver exposing himself. The teen got out his cell phone and told the driver he was calling the police.

The suspect was described as a white male, between 30 and 40 years old, with brown hair. The suspect was also driving a blue, compact car.
