118 Cats Taken from Home Euthanized

118 cats that were seized from a 500 square foot St. Anthony home have been euthanized. The Animal Humane Society says the cats were too sick, physically and behaviorally, to be adopted.

There was just one litter box, and workers say the house was covered in urine and feces.

Robert and Cheryl Salidas, the couple who were hoarding the cats, are now in the care of social services.

In 2002, 72 cats were pulled from the same couple's Coon Rapids house.
