CAMBRIDGE, Minn. - A Cambridge pilot is accused of sexually assaulting another boy from the ages of 13 to 16.
Jeffrey Nelson Iverson Jr., 31, Cambridge, was first accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy while giving him helicopter rides.
Iverson is due back in Anoka County District Court Aug. 5 on two felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges.
The mother of the second victim went to police after she heard about the first victim. According to the criminal complaint, the victim said sexual acts did happen every time he was with Iverson, which was over 100 times over three years.
The first victim's mother reported the alleged sexual assaults to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division. The Blaine woman had met Iverson nearly six years ago and had dated him for a year. Iverson continued to spend time with the boy after the relationship with his mother was over, including taking him to activities, according to the complaint.
The boy told investigators that the sexual assaults occurred during the helicopter rides, starting in the fall 2009. Iverson allegedly corroborated the boy's account in admissions to a therapist and his current girlfriend.
