Flags at Half-Staff for Master Sgt. Daniel Fedder

PINE CITY, Minn. - Governor Tim Pawlenty ordered flags to fly at half staff on Tuesday in remembrance of Master Sergeant Daniel Fedder

Fedder, 34, of Pine City, died in a roadside bombing on August 27. He was assigned to the 7th Engineer Support Battalion out of Camp Pendleton.

The funeral for Fedder will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pine City National Guard Armory. It's open to the public, and Gov. Tim Pawlenty is scheduled to attend.

Pawlenty has ordered all flags be flown at half-staff at all state and federal buildings on Tuesday in honor and remembrance of Fedder.

A wake was held at the Armory Monday for the public to pay their respects.
